I love Kids Interview Bands, mostly because these two seventh grade girls are living the life I dreamt of when I was younger (and maybe still do now). My favorite of theirs so far is their interview with Ghost B.C. They are a couple of bad-ass kids who interview whoever they want, including their newest of the series: Speedy Ortiz. They ask a range of questions from “have you ever broken a bone” to “name all the members of the Spice Girls,” and although it seems silly at first, the Kids Interview Bands series is extremely refreshing. They never ask the boring questions you hear in interviews like “who influences your style of music” or “what’s it like to be the only girl in a band.” Watch Speedy Ortiz give their awesomely awkward responses in the video below.
