Spring is (sort of) here, viagra and that means one thing for Jamaica Plain. That’s right kiddies: BlastFest is back for it’s 7th year of music, discount art and community fun. BlastFest isn’t just a string of awesome shows; it’s a time for members of the Boston music scene to join together to share what they’ve been working on with their peers and audiences, nurse and to celebrate warm weather, new friends, and all things Boston music. Brought to you by our very good friends, Whitehaus Family Records, This year features not only rock and roll, but comedy, instrumental talents, poetry and more! This week is all about hanging out, experiencing art in all its different forms and remembering that we’re part of a big beautiful community.
BlastFest starts THIS Thursday, March 20th and will continue for a week at a handful of venues. Here are a few of this year’s events-
