The AP staff were lucky enough to catch Woods and Quilt at the Sinclair a week ago. Though Jeremy Earl’s falsetto voice was obviously tired and thin, Woods still sent its pleasant folk harmonies and ripping pysch blasts through the venue speakers. The band is set to release a 7″ as a compliment to their new album, With Light and With Love. The 7″ includes Tamborine Light b/w Tomorrow’s Only Yesterday and is being released via… wait for it… Captured Tracks! Bet you thought I was gonna say Woodsist. It comes out July 8.
Also, you can stream the new Parquet Courts album via NPR’s First Listen for the next few days… peak it while you can, here!!!!
