Last year we weighed the morality of Cassette Store Day, and this year, it’s back with more to offer. On September 27, music shops that sell cassettes (because really, there aren’t any stores that exclusively sell these things), will have a treasure trove of goodies, as well as some unique releases. Yesterday they announced that cassettes from Mutual Benefit, Cloud Nothings, The History of Apple Pie, and Courtney Barnett among others will be available in participating shops in the US and the UK.
