Locals, Alosi Den, have been anxiously awaiting the day that they could open up the great big beautiful world with their album, Mirror Image. Much of this haunting album plays on the theme of moving on to better times, but the album title is a statement on the overall sound. Picking up acoustic guitars and a violin, the band contrasts the psych direction in which they usually lean, with something more organic.

“We viewed it as a studio project and weren’t necessarily concerned with playing the songs live. We just wanted to make the best recordings that we could. Our live shows sounds very different than this album. I wouldn’t call it a one-off, but just another side of the band, a reflection of the source,” Will McCall (guitar, vocals, piano, percussion) explained.
