Northampton’s Bunny’s a Swine is that local band that other local bands aspire to be like. Not only have they stood the test of time, releasing albums since 2008, but in my opinion, they’ve gotten better with every one. Their new 7″ called TR-06-AA is clean evidence. 2 songs that really capture the band’s essence, but in very different ways. The first, “TV,” is a bit more rough around the edges, with Candace Clement and Emerson Stevens’ vocals taking meandering routes, but ultimately translating something nostalgic and real. The B-side, “Greetings From the Bottom,” has the vocal pairing lock up on harmonies for what Candace describes as, “our fuzzy anthem about the slops state of the music biz.” The two tracks are the perfect teaser for the next BaS record that the band plans to release in early June at the Thing In The Spring in Peterbough, NH.
