Band Practice is a band. It most likely practices. And now it has a theme song. So, “Happy Tuesday” to that.

A project of Miscreant Records’ founder Jeanette Wall and per-album recruit Ben Bondy of Cult of the Crying Moon and Friendless Bummer, Band Practice is an organic singer/songwriter duo that teeters on the line between the light-hearted adorable and the I-better-sit-down-for-this introspective. Respectively, “Theme Song” does the same. It’s pairing of catchy guitar progression with assorted “I am [blank]” lyrics might just perfectly represent the, in my opinion, vastly underrated artist.

More news? It’s good news. After a couple years of individual track releases, Band Practice will release their first studio-recorded album Make Nice on 12/9 via Chill Mega Chill Records. Equipped with the likeability of “Theme Song” and Corgi artwork, the album is certainly a Wall project worth checking out.

Until then, stream “Theme Song” over at Stereogum, and show Miscreant Records some love while you have the internet connection. You can afford one more open tab.
