Brooklyn lo-fi basement rockers BOYTOY return to Boston on Thursday (2/28) to play TT the Bear’s Place with Sean Bones and Velah. The trio has only been kicking for a few months now, but have put out a series of top-notch demos, including “TV Dreams” below, and have gigged with the likes of The Growlers, Pretty & Nice, MMOSS, and You Can Be a Wesley, who they played with on New Years Eve at Allston Pudding’s Pizzeria Regina Throwdown. Speaking of You Can Be a Wesley, you may recognize BOYTOY guitarist/vocalist Saara Untracht-Oakner and drummer Dylan Ramsey from the former Boston band, and guitarist Glenn Van Dyke joins them from Brooklyn-based Beast Make Bomb. BOYTOY have come charging out of the gates, and now is the time to see them.
