Amherst-based rockers California X have announced that their upcoming album Nights in the Dark will be released on January 13, 2015 via Don Giovanni Records. The sophomore offering comes as a follow up to their eponymous 2013 debut.

A press release for the band states that “Nights in the Dark not only stimulates the senses but it allowed the quartet to delve deeper into more conceptual work, the contrast between light and dark, contentment and longing.”

According to the band’s Facebook page, you can pre-order the record here. The first pressing of 300 are on colored vinyl!
