Looking for something to do this Saturday afternoon? Broke as heck? Cambridge Arts has you covered! This Saturday, June 6th, there’s a whole big (and free!) River Festival happening in Central Square, featuring six different stages and numerous vendors located all around this section of Mass Ave. in Cambridge. There’s also a solid lineup of local “Rock, Indie, Alternative” musicians playing on what they’re calling the “Rock, Indie, Alternative Stage.” There should be a few names on there you recognize:
12:00 PM: Dirty Bangs
1:00 PM: Blinders
2:00 PM: American Echoes
3:00 PM: Mini Dresses
4:00 PM: The Barbazons
5:00 PM: Abadabad
The stage will be on Brookline Street, at the corner of Green Street, and The Middle East Night Club will be emceeing.
This is the festival’s 35th year, and will have it all: sculpture racing, puppet shows, poetry slams, and a host of local cuisine to try.
