TITUS ANDRONICUS (THE SINCLAIR 1/27)

Given their fiercely New Jerseyan identity, you wouldn’t expect Titus Andronicus to have many connections to their home state’s more ambitious colonial sibling to the north–New England–but their rescheduled show last Sunday at The Sinclair revealed a few. Local scene stalwart Elio DeLuca joined the band on piano for a few songs, marking rare lineup usually reserved for studio recording sessions…

HUMPDAY HUNXXX (Ilya Podolskiy)

New Year, New Hunxxx! This time we’re doing something different by getting even more up close and personal.

The members of AMNLS (Aminals) met each other back in 2005/2006, when they were all playing in different bands. Five single releases later, they are finally coming out with a full album due this summer. Until then, you can catch them during their “mini tour” from February 28th to March 3rd around the New England and NY/NJ area.

KING DUDE, CHELSEA WOLFE (SINCLAIR 1/23)

Things heated up January 23rd at The Sinclair as King Dude and Chelsea Wolfe took the stage for a night of Luciferian/American Folk music. The venue was satisfyingly toasty, considering the fact that the 12 degrees outside felt more like 5. The audience patiently awaited as King Dude walked out to a beaten up opaque American flag, with what looked like a burned hole through the upper right side…
