On Friday the 13th, Cliff Notez brought a cast of artists together to celebrate his latest release, Why The Wild Things Are. The show took place at the OBERON Theater in Cambridge and felt appropriately theatrical with its dramatic lighting changes and unique stage arrangement made just for the performance. The intimacy and personal nature of Notez’s latest record came to life on stage, with live features and great opening performances by Van Buren and Brandie Blaze. In addition to the night’s great musical aspects, there were also accompanying video projects both during and between songs that helped to tie the vision of the night together.
