Converse is bringing its quarterly Rubber Tracks concert series to its hometown of Boston, and kicking it off with two shows next week at The Sinclair in Cambridge. The Rubber Tracks shows will aim to bring eclectic bills to our city, while celebrating our own homegrown music scene. If there’s anything our music community needs, it’s a lot of things, but putting local acts on a big stage with big names is a good step in the right direction. Converse Rubber tracks has already been a huge help to Boston bands in New York, and having their presence felt directly in our city is going to be major. Here are the show details:
Wednesday, May 22
Yeasayer
Ducktails
Bodega Girls
Camden
Friday, May 24th
CurrenSy
The Perceptionists
Statik Selektah
Sean Price & Termanology
Moe Pope & Rain
Grey Sky Appeal
Tickets are only 10$ to each show and all proceeds will go to benefit One Fund Boston. They go on sale today (5/16) at noon and will probably go very quickly, so don’t sleep on it. Tickets can be purchased here via ticketmaster.
