Couples Counseling brings an eerie brand of freak folk/pop to the scene, with undulating, bubbly synth tracks swirling underneath Virginia De Las Pozas’ restrained, celestial vocals. Boston natives, Couples Counseling is just as quirky as their name suggests. If you were lucky enough to pick up one of their limited release cassettes to accompany their EP released last March, you’d be keyed into their quasi-psychedelic image and sound.

Little Spoon offers a touch of trippiness to a traditional pop sound. Cameron Potter teams up with his keyboard to compose fluttering melodies. Echoing drums and shimmering vocals all layer up to create a kaleidoscope of sound, as dynamic and colorful as the cover art of his last three releases.
