Jay-Z may have thrust #NewRules into the spotlight, but New Orleans spitter Curren$y is pushing it even further by partnering with BitTorrent for his newest mixtape, Red Eye, alongside his Jet Life collective.  Spitta himself only appears on a couple tracks, but the whole thing is worth a listen.  And even better – he’s announced a tour for Jet Life, and although he himself isn’t coming along, some quality artists are.  Catch Young Roddy, Fiend, and Cornerboy P in Cambridge’s Middle East on Thursday, September 19th.  For full dates, hit the link, and stream the newest Jet Life tape below.
