Mean Creek made quite the name for themselves rocking around Boston for nearly a decade. Just this month, the four-piece disbanded, leaving us with a final song, “Forgotten Streets“. But as we’re still healing from the breakup of quite the hometown heroes, guitarist and vocalist Chris Keene has returned his focus to his solo project, dubbed Dream Generation.

Far from the raggedy industrial rock produced by Mean Creek, “She’s So Wild” settles into a hazy film of dream pop underscored by fuzzy, faint guitar. This comes as the first track Dream Generation has shared with us in a while; his last release came in the form of Spirit Of america, a concept album observing the American way a la Keene’s often cited influence, Bruce Springsteen.

“She’s So Wild” is the only single out so far, and Keene hasn’t announced any plans for an album, but stay tuned. You can check out the track below.
