Love ’em or over ’em, The Dropkick Murphy’s are perhaps the biggest representatives of Boston music out there today. Because of this, it pleases me to see singer/bassist Ken Casey defend both his beliefs and the reputation of his band by beating the shit out of a skinhead doing the Nazi salute on stage. The show was at Terminal 5 in NYC as part of their 2-night St. Patrick’s Day run, and from the looks of the video below (which includes beatdown footage), the show looked pretty killer otherwise. Just a tip for all the shitty people of the world: probably not a good idea to be a shithead in a place where you’re going to get the piss knocked out of you in front of a crowd full of people and then see it on YouTube later. Props to The Murphys for taking care of business on this one.
