Just last week, The Drums dropped their first new song in three years, and now here’s the accompanying video. ‘Magic Mountain’ is definitely a different sound than the simple and beachy chill songs of Portamento, it has a starkly sharper, dissonant and more fast paced feel to it. Shot in mysterious black and white frames, almost reminiscent of Twilight Zone, the members of The Drums wave swords, leap through the wilderness, and duel with flames, all while keeping a perfectly stylized moody look on their faces.
