The team of Ed Schrader and Devlin Rice, better known as Ed Schrader’s Music Beat, have made their new album Party Jail available for streaming on Soundcloud. Their sophomore effort covers a lot of ground sonically, at times shaking and shrieking with the nervous energy of the Blood Brothers while also matching the aural assault of fellow Baltimore rockers Roomrunner.  And just when you think your ears can’t possibly take any more pounding, the band transitions into a bluesy track like  “Laughing” – a softer number which turns out to be one of the album’s standouts.

Party Jail hits shelves next Tuesday, and the band is currently touring Europe with Future Islands.
