And on the seventh day, the flying spaghetti monster said “Let there be an even saucier reference to  2004’s ‘Mean Girls,’ particularly in the form of pop punk.”

And so we have the answer with the premiere of local Yale, Massachusetts‘s new EP Pizzeria Regina George STREAMING. RIGHT. HERE. Check out this combo you’ve always hungered for below, and grab the tape here, compliments of Antique Records and everydayisamixtape. For further download, it’s also available on iTunes.

To no surprise, the four-track release is a fun listen: involved but not try-hard, catchy but rough around the edges… like a slice of pizza…wearing army pants and flip flops…

The anticipated EP has come at long last. Yale, MA’s 2011 release Act Like You’ve Been There established a sound of punk rock solidarity, leaving listeners wanting more of the local outfit and all of its rhythmic humor. Fortunately, the craving stops here. Eat your heart out Lindsay Lohan… because that’s probably made of pizza too.

Stream Pizzeria Regina George below and hit up Yale, MA’s Rock ‘n’ Rumble performance at T.T. the Bear’s Place on 4/18!
