Ezra Furman shares his song “Ferguson’s Burning”

 

Officer Darren Wilson was not indicted yesterday in the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, resulting in unrest among the citizens of Ferguson, MO, and the rest the nation. On the day Michael Brown died, Illinois-native and Bar/None Records musician Ezra Furman wrote a song entitled “Ferguson’s Burning” in response. Today, after the verdict was announced, Furman re-posted his song, along with this comment:

Note: please do not comment telling me that Darren Wilson is innocent. I know there is a chance that that is true. I consider it a very slim chance. Even if he is innocent there are many, many other cops that are guilty of the same crime of which he is accused.”
