Go See Totoro @ the Brattle After You Nerd Out On Record Store Day

Record Store Day will take a lot out of you: you’ll be all like, “damn, I’m so tired from buying all of this overpriced, reissued vinyl that was originally released when Reagan was president”. Okay, not everything will be so old, but I can guarantee you’ll pay too much on whatever it is you buy, unless of course you’re just in it to browse and shit, in which case, whatever. Regardless, there’s nothing stopping me from purchasing the Scott Pilgrim vs The World original video game soundtrack by Anamanguchi. All of this said- but especially if you’re someone who will be making a purchase on record store day- you should have no problem spending $8 to $15 (pending concession visit) to sit down and relax at the Brattle and watch two of the best animated films ever: Miyazaki’s, My Neighbor Totoro (clip above) and Spirited Away (music below).
