Fat History Month‘s latest, Bad History Month, has been one of our favorite local albums of 2013 so far, and now the Allston duo has released a new track, “Sad History Month,” which is their side of a brand new split with My Dad. The tune is a whopping six and a half minutes long and is totally sad, in the best way possible. If there’s one thing FHM is good at, it’s giving you a swift kick in the feels, and with “Sad History Month,” they go through a few different mini-movements, letting lyrics soak in extended shades of ambience. The split will be available August 6th via Exploding in Sound Records, Ranch Records, and Broken World Media, and you can pre-order it right now here.
