“I Think I Think Too Much” About KINO In Boston

KINO Brighton Music Hall

Singer-songwriter, composer, and producer KINO stopped by Brighton Music Hall as part of his I think I think too much 2025 Tour. Known for being a member of the popular K-pop boyband PENTAGON, KINO established his own label, NAKED, to step into his solo career. Fans lined the barricade with PENTAGON light sticks, twirling them with excitement, and a heartbeat audio sample pulsed through the speakers, creating anticipation for the performance. The lights dimmed at 7:00 pm sharp, and fans erupted with cheers, starting a “KINO” chant. The singer emerged silhouetted by blue spotlights in a vintage AC/DC tour shirt, ripped baggy jeans, a studded belt, and silver chains, crouching center stage.

He jump-started the night with an electric performance of “Broke My Heart,” flawlessly executing expressive and clean choreography that emphasized the bass line and captivated the audience. KINO cultivated an intimate fan experience too, pausing between songs to chat and share more about his experience on tour. He shared how grateful he was to return to Boston for his first solo headline tour after making that promise in 2019, and the crowd couldn’t help but be charmed by his humor. He joked about his English skills, the bootleg merchandise he spotted in the crowd, and all the crowd reactions to different songs he played. KINO was also dedicated to breaking down barriers between artist and fan and stepped into the pit to sing about midway through the set. KINO shared the stage with his guitarist and a drummer. The drummer propelled the set allowing KINO to bounce off of the energy that can only be created with live instrumentals as opposed to full backing tracks. KINO’s charisma and welcoming persona created an unforgettable personal experience for each fan. If you haven’t already, make sure to catch KINO live before his tour ends in February.
