We let you in on the Die Antwoord tour news earlier this week and the stellar announcements didn’t end there – check out some more reasons why this week’s paycheck is going straight to Ticketmaster:

The Faint (Royale, online 5/16)
We haven’t heard anything from The Faint since 2008, discount but it seems they have been pretty busy. The Omaha electro-punks announced the release of their latest LP, Doom Abuse, on April 8 and their upcoming tour featuring a stop at the Royale. Check out “Help in the Head” below:

Eels (Berklee Performance Center, 5/29)
Although Mr. E and the gang regularly tour, it’s exciting nonetheless to hear of their upcoming Boston visits. The quirky alt-rockers are adding The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett to their hefty discography on April 22 and hitting the Berklee Performance Center this May with Chelsea Wolfe.

Sharon Van Etten (Sinclair, 6/11)
Folk darling Sharon Van Etten is releasing a follow-up to 2012’s acclaimed Tramp called Are We There, which is slated to drop on May 27. She will be stopping in Northampton prior to her Sinclair date at the Iron Horse Music Hall on May 8, so be sure to catch the singer-songwriter on one or both of her upcoming dates.

Basement (Sinclair, 8/20)
Back in January, these UK punks announced that their 2012 hiatus had come to an end and have finally given word that they will be touring internationally this summer with US dates in August. Is an album in the works? We’ll have to wait and see, but for now get nostalgic with “Canada Square” below:
