KahBang has become one of New England’s premiere summer music festivals, but what keeps it so notable for Bostonians is how each year it seems to host more Boston bands. Now in its fifth year, KahBang will host locals such as Mean Creek, Herra Terra, The Bynars, and Aer alongside national names like Dr.Dog, Oberhofer, and Lucius. Held from August 8-11 in Bangor, Maine, the event also features an art and film festival, as well as a Bangor Brew Fest featuring keynote speaker John Palmer, author of How to Brew. Perhaps the best thing about KahBang though, is how totally affordable it is. Festival passes are as low as 35$ and can be purchased here.
