It seems like this week more than most, a lot of news was buzzing about MA-area bands, so in case you missed it, here’s a rundown of what happened this week.

Speedy Ortiz announced March tour dates with Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks and premiered a new music video for “No Below” which you can watch yes below (oh wow that’s dumb sorry). They also took to their LiveJournal to give details on their January DIY/all ages tour with Grass is Green.

Speaking of Grass is Green, they premiered a new track from their upcoming LP, Vacation Vinny, “Sammy So Sick”

Krill premiered the title track to their upcoming Steve Hears Pile in Malden and Bursts Into Tears EP on Stereogum

Ovlov put out a video for their excellent song “Really Bees,” and it was directed by our friend Ethan Long. Watch below.

Guerilla Toss’ new album Gay Disco is streaming on Pitchfork, and it will be released on NNA Tapes on 12/10.

The AV Club released its list of Worst Band Names in 2013, naming My Dick as worthy of this accolade.
