Philly’s scene shook things up when the genre-fluctuating five piece mewithoutYou started in 2000. Arguably the band’s best album, 2004’s Catch For Us The Foxes, turns 10 this year, and they’re celebrating by hitting the road in support of it. A series of west coast dates were already announced with The World Is A Beautiful Place… opening, but the east coast finally got it’s own shows added. As much as we love TWIABP, we’re stocked to see post rock greats The Appleseed Cast opening when the band comes to the Paradise Rock Club on October 3.

The reason Catch for Us the Foxes stands out in the band’s catalogue has to do with their comfort and closure writing it. It stands as an even mix of art rock and post-hardcore, combining the two for a unique sound that the band is best known for (along with Brother, Sister).
