Phil Elverum, also known by his project moniker Mount Eerie, has just released new details regarding his forthcoming album Sauna. The record will be released under his P.W. Elverum & Sun label on February 3, 2015.

Sauna, which is the follow up to 2013’s Pre-Human Ideas, is described by Elverum’s press release as being about, “Vikings and zen and real life”. It goes on to say, “All of the song titles are single words and some of the songs are very long. This is music meant to weigh heavy on you like a lot of cold water at night, and also the sword glimmering at the bottom of the lake at night.”
