I’ve never been to Denmark, but from what I understand, everything that comes out of there is trendy and intriguing. I mean, the Danish gave us Legos, after all. But they also gave us Mew, serving Denmark’s alternative rock scene for the past 21 years. But we haven’t heard from them since their previous release, No More Stories…, which graced our speakers back in 2009.

But Mew have returned on the scene, with +-. In the six years since we heard them last, Mew have certainly gained some and lost some, in terms of sound and maturity. But whatever they’ve lost is made up for in their verbose tracks that leave a little to the imagination.
