Wavves announed a project called Spirit Club with the release of an album via mediafire download today. The homemade 2-song release has a softer feel than Wavves’ signature scuzzy punk/surf rock sound.

The band Spirit Club includes Andrew Caddick, Nathan Williams, and Joel Williams. No signs of what’s to come of Spirit Club in the future, but these two songs (titled “Eye Dozer” and “Sling”) show an interesting direction for the lo-fi beach fuzz rockers.
