Local quartet Pretty & Nice have had quite the week. Their new album Golden Rules for Golden People dropped last Tuesday, along with a release show at Great Scott, and a set last night at Boston’s Benefest. To me, the band sounds tighter than ever, and their new material translates perfectly live. The tunes from Golden Rules are fixin’ to soundtrack more than a few summers.

Today, Algernon Quashie of Brooklyn’s Miniature Tigers (former tourmates of Pretty & Nice), released this remix to “Capsules,” off of Pretty & Nice’s Us You All We EP. This is the club banger we’ve all been waiting for this band to release, and there’s a pretty freaky animated video for it to boot.
