Last April, emo fans worldwide praised the heavens (or something like that) after catching wind of a Mineral reunion tour. The angst-ridden Texas outfit kicks of their first of a long list of shows tonight in Brooklyn at a sold-out Saint Vitus. Since reissuing both 1996′s The Power Of Failing and 1998′s EndSerenading, both as individual releases and combined into a double-disc anthology called Mineral – 1994-1998: The Complete Collection, the band has up’d the emo ante with an alternate version of Failing’s “Parking Lot.” Hear the track exclusively at Stereogum!
