On April 24th, The Coathangers stopped in Boston to play a show at Royale in support of Minus The Bear’s “Planet of Ice” anniversary tour. Not restricted to tracks from any particular record, the punk trio’s trio’s setlist included fan favorites like “Adderall” and “Squeeki Tiki.” After The Coathangers, Minus The Bear played the closing performance, all in front of an appropriately themed “Planet of Ice” backdrop. Overall, the band’s energetic indie rock set made for a good ending to the weekday show.
