Last month, Boston’s own Pile embarked the journey that is crowd-source fundraising via Indiegogo. The goal: a van capable of getting them on the road for a massive tour starting in February. As has been reported on their social media pages, and even on this very site, Pile’s last van was a financial nightmare. Hoping to offset the cost of their new ride, the band put up several rewards including: their new album, You’re Better Than This on pink vinyl, test pressings of any of their LP’s, and for any fans who happened to have $5,000 laying around… the first look at Kris’s beardless face in 10 years.

Earlier today, the goal was reached. Congrats, Pile! (Just don’t go for the undercoating.)
