When it comes to local talent, stomach vcialis 40mg Sara Kendall should definitely be on your radar. Since starting at Berklee, the Southborough, MA native has fostered an immediately gripping sound, meshing her great piano work and strong voice with outside-the-box synth production. Her songs hit a balance between the singer-songwriter vibe and alternative electronica that’s easy to love.

“I’ve always been interested in trying out different sounds,” Sara told us. “The electronic feel brings out something new; really adds something beyond my piano playing and singing.”

While the production gives the tracks their edge, Sara’s songwriting is their greatest strength. Working in a measured balance of strength and vulnerability, her earnest lyrics, brought to life by her moving voice, make for a powerful emotional core, made all the more vivid by the synthetic sounds surrounding them. Fans of Jessie Ware, take note.

This summer, Sara will be releasing her debut EP, I’ll Be Your Skin. For this collection, she is looking to past.

“These are all songs I wrote awhile ago,” she told us. “Two of them I actually wrote in high school. It’s a collection of thoughts and feelings growing up, and this is me finally pouring out things I’ve kept to myself for awhile.”

Today we’re premiering a track from the EP, “Patient Hand.” You can stream it below and name your price for it on Bandcamp.

If you’d like to catch Sara live, she will be playing O’Briens on July 24th as part of Fitz Fest.
