PREMIERE: Strange Mangers “Return Eternal” EP

Happy Saturday, I’ve got a little present for ya. A shimmery new EP from Strange Mangers. Equal parts indie, post-rock, and shoegaze – this group has been kicking around the Boston scene since 2011. Today we have the pleasure of premiering their brand new EP Return Eternal. Strange Mangers is easy, soothing, and has a softness that beckoned me on the first listen. Reminiscent of The Six Parts Seven and A. Armada, they have something those two lack – a vocalist. With Dan Lewicki’s vocals dripping over the echoing guitars, these tracks have a way of slowing the clock down.

In the midst of releasing this EP and gearing up for a brief tour (full details below), somehow these guys found the time to release a special anthology cassette with our pals over at Disposable America this week. Speaking of the tour, they are taking Horse Jumper of Love out on the road with them. Why don’t you join us at their kickoff show tonight?
