Last week, Allston Pudding chatted with the men of Tallahassee about the details behind their new album, Old Ways. That album drops May 7th, but now you can get another taste of whats to come with this stream of “Best of Days.” The eighth track on the album brings a bluesy groove, dressed up in some intricate and vibrant guitar work. It perfectly complements the songwriting, which isn’t overly sentimental, but sweetly reminiscent enough to maintain some folk appeal, and cross over into palatable rock streams as well. From the sounds of it, this album is the perfect gateway into summertime. Every guitar lick, every vocal harmony, and every golden hook and chorus radiates vibes of summer brews, front porches, and charcoal grills. I’m psyched for this full record to hit shelves, but before it does, be sure to catch Tallahassee this Friday, May 3rd at The Sinclair for their album release show with Hallelujah the Hills, Coyote Kolb, and Larcenist.
