In anticipation of their upcoming album, buy cialis we’re pleased to premiere Holiday Music’s “Bugs Pray” off Brain waves are real? The track is a glorious contradiction in itself that you might not notice upon first listen, dragging along listeners with a wall of heavy distorted, sludgy guitar over delicate muted vocals. It’s all tied together with weird and bizarre undertones that are worth digging into on your second or third or fourth listen once you can’t shake the song. Take the opening note, which sounds somewhat like layers of didgeridoo, or the subsequent brief clicking that is something like what I imagine your brain waves might sound like if they could speak to you on a desperate hunt for your morning coffee. Each isolated element sounds like the feature to a separate track, but somehow Holiday Music seamlessly wrapped it all up into the perfect Christmas in July gift.

Brain waves are real? will be released on July 7, and will be available on cassette via Boston’s own Disposable America and CD through Seagreen Records. If you’re already a fan of the labels’ artists like Dirty Dishes or Cave Needles, then Holiday Music is just the niche for you. If not, well, then you haven’t lived yet.

The track comes just in time for Holiday Music’s album release show stacked with Soft Fangs, Chandos and Sneeze. The event will take place at Great Scott on release day and you can grab your tickets for the show here. Don’t forget to pick up your physical copy of Brain waves are real? at the show.
