We’re all bummed that summer is coming to a close, but our pals at BUFU records have helped soften the blow with an incredible end of summer showcase featuring some of the most exciting local acts currently rocking the Boston scene. It’s all going down this Saturday (September 13th) at the Democracy Center; be there and dance out your back to school blues for only ( a suggested donation of ) 7-10 bucks.

The Lineup is better than great- Free Pizza is going to bring the good vibes with their irresistibly dance inspiring party punk. After a summer of touring and music video making we’re happy to have them home in Boston. Up next IAN. She’s one of the sickest live acts around and if you haven’t seen them  yet now is the time! Their mighty front woman brings more power and energy into a performance than we thought was humanly possible for one person to provide. Littlefoot is gonna carry on the show with some smooth and soothing indie inspired jams that are sure to make you sway away any end of summer sadness that might still be stuck in your bones. Then the Lentils  are stepping up to the plate to deliver some fuzzy love fi goodness that has a hint of sweetness and a strong overtone of wavy hazy vibes that we might be missing from the dog days of August. Gangbang Gordon is going to be the cherry on top of this musical sundae that’s waiting for you guys Saturday.
