Owen Pallett…sound familiar? Arcade Fire, Grizzly Bear’s Ed Droste, Titus Andronicus, Brian Eno, Beirut, The Mountain Goats, Arctic Monkeys, and Spike Jonze are just a few people who have worked with the 34-year-old composer. You’ll find Pallett in the liner notes of more albums than you’d think.
At the end of this month, the Oscar-nominated singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/composer/genius will be releasing In Conflict, his fourth full-length release (May 27, Domino/Secret City). You can find Pallett at Brighton Music Hall this Saturday with support from Doldrums. In Conflict is the follow up to 2010’s Heartland and Swedish Love Story EP and features Brian Eno alongside the Czech FILMharmonic Orchestra and was recorded by Mark Lawson (Arcade Fire, Beirut, The Unicorns, Timber Timbre).
