As the festival lineups continue rolling in, Twin Peaks have just been announced as one of the acts playing Washington’s Sasquatch! Festival this year. The windy city-based trio wowed critics with their 2014 release Wild Onion, packed full of their signature twangy psychedelic garage rock. Twin Peaks are quickly becoming as big as their namesake cult TV show. Leaving fans hanging in anticipation after Wild Onion‘s wild success, they’ve returned with a mellow, quasi-rockabilly single, “In The Morning (In The Evening)”. Its simple structure and call and response hooks The Kinks would envy is a testament to their success in an attempted revival of clean, unadulterated rock and roll.
“In The Morning (In The Evening” is reminiscent of summer- and it comes just in time, as Twin Peaks have also announced they’ll not only be playing at Washington’s Memorial Day weekend Sasquatch! Music Festival, but also heading out on a brief stint throughout the US.
