Britt Daniel, of Spoon and The Divine Fits, despite planning the release of Spoon’s first album in four years sometime in 2014, has taken on another supergroup side-project.  It’s called Split Single and it features Jon Wurster, the drummer of Superchunk and The Mountain Goats, as well as Jason Narducy, who I’m not going to pretend to have heard of.

In anticipation of their first album Fragmented World, set for release on April 1, the’ve recorded this mockumentary teaser featuring Fred Armisen, Dave Grohl, Tim Meadows, Margaret Cho, and Bob Mould.  Oh, and it’s called “The Sexiest Elbows In Rock Music.”
