Local duo Rye Pines are set to release their follow-up EP to last year’s fantastic album A Portrait of Dissonance as a Young Man. The EP, titled Dead Ocean is available on February 17th via Bob Records, but you can now stream it in full thanks to the good folks over at Brooklyn Vegan. Dead Ocean is all the usual brilliance of Rye Pines, but manages to camp itself into a more snarling, fuzzed out sonic territory than their previous work.

Rye Pines will be holding their tape release show on the 17th at the Middle East Upstairs, and will be supported by Nice Guys, Zip Tie Handcuffs and Something Sneaky.
