SXSW Showcase Rundown

SXSW is one of the biggest, most diverse music festivals on the map right now. Featuring around 800 musical artists, Film screenings, artist talks and workshops, its tough to know where to focus your time and energy. Are you having a tough time navigating the ocean of awesome that is SXSW? Never fear, AP is here with a little run down of some artists and showcases to look for this March in Austin. Okay so maybe you get a little homesick all the way down in the Lone Star State- don’t sweat it we’ve all been there. Lucky for you Exploding In Sound is throwing some all-star shows. Check out the following bands BBQing at Todd’s Mansion and at the Hole in the Wall. Some of these guys will also be playing the Brooklyn Vegan Free Day Parties along with The Hold Steady, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart and Quilt.
