We know you’re all coming to our Brooklyn Exchange Program shows at Great Scott and Silent Barn so this ticket giveaway is pretty useless. But for those unfamiliar, we partnered with Brooklyn-based publication 1.21 Gigawatts to put on the same bill of Boston and Brooklyn bands on back-to-back nights in Boston and Brooklyn respectively. Boston gets first dibs at Great Scott on Thursday with Speedy Ortiz, Island Twins, Advaeta, and Idiot Genes and then the bands will make the 17 hour drive down to Brooklyn just in time for a show at Silent Barn with the addition of Lunchbox.
Beyond being an excellent bill (if we do say so ourselves), we view this show as a great way to encourage the spread of Boston music to neighboring scenes and vice versa. We’re giving away a pair of tickets to both shows so make sure to share this with your friends in Brooklyn. If you each go to one of the shows, it will be like you went together!
