Titus Andronicus release new video, announce tour

Titus Andronicus

I didn’t even realize how much I had missed Patrick Stickles’s jackal-like howls and irreverent wordplay until I heard the Titus Andronicus’s first single off their upcoming rock opera, The Most Lamentable Tragedy. And I didn’t even realize how excited I was for said “rock opera” until right now, because the band has released a video for an even better new single, and announced upcoming tour dates, including a stop at Brighton Music Hall.

Titus Andronicus have always sounded like the band you wish you started in high school, but never could. With cheeky references to a still life with (ahem) a “hot deuce”, corporate greed, and Walt Whitman, to name a few, the band is equal parts playful angst, literary overture, and middle-finger defiance – and this latest glimpse of work is no exception. Watch the video for “Fatal Flaw” below, and check the list of tour dates with Baked and Spider Bags.
