Treasure Island Music Festival is taking place this weekend, and we are super stoked to have our West Coast correspondent Tyler Loring on the festival grounds for another stacked bill. With headliners Outkast and Massive Attack, this San Francisco gathering is sure to be a party. We are especially exited to see Alt-J, and get a taste of some fresh jams off their latest record This is Yours. Other AP favs Mø and The Growlers will also be performing at the fest. For those of you who saw their recent performances in Boston, you already know how sick this is going to be! Indie rock legends TV On The Radio and The New Pornographers are sure to provide some chill jams in the California sun before getting super weird with Tobacco and XXYYXX late night. The two day festival is in it’s 8th year, and continues to bring in a variety of electronic and rock talent to keep the festival vibes rolling through the fall.
