Dylan, who plays as Bedbug, is a bedroom-pop artist based in Allston. Their most recent record “i’ll count to heaven in years without seasons,” was one of our favorite records of last year, though it technically missed our cut-off, so it was only an honorable mention on our list. I’m calling it a technicality, personally.
Dylan played a special set for us and no one else back in January for this video. They played two unreleased Bedbug songs, the first called “daytime tv judges,” the second called “life like bigger screens.” They also played their greatest hit, “lilies,” which has never been documented on film, sources say.
