If you frequent shows in the Boston area you may have been fortunate enough to have already seen a Karman Voh set, but if you haven’t, we hope this session serves as a solid introduction to a captivating performer and brilliant songwriter: Kármán Voh.  Kármán Voh is a music project founded by Pasha Koskins (they/them).  Their sound combines tropes and elements of pop, noise and electronic music to produce spacious and immersive rock music.  Pasha invited us to see them perform in a basement in Jamaica Plain this summer and we’re honored to share the session we recorded.

Pasha performed three songs for us: Air Raid Out, Feelin’ Better, and Soft Crackling Shell.  Air Raid Out is from a 2017 release titled Ill Loam, while “Soft Crackling Shell,” is expected on the next Karman Voh release: a full length album due early 2019.  Its release date and track listing should be announced later this fall.  In the meantime, take a listen to their most recent release, If Only Apart, an EP of 5 songs featuring the song “Feelin’ Better,” which was recently remastered on their Bandcamp.

The first single off their new record, Tiny Little Engine, is due out in the fall of this year accompanied by a music video shot by yours truly (Matt!).

Projection art partially by Fenn Macon – Audio recorded and mixed by Pasha Koskins – Video shot by Matt Hamer and Jason Kimball.
